In every community, people possess gifts and talents that can be used for ministry, but they often don’t know how to connect with neighbors in need who are seeking those exact skills at that exact time. Love INC helps churches mobilize their members to reach out to their neighbors in need, by creating specific, manageable opportunities that utilize the unique skills and talents of their congregation to fill unmet needs in the community.

God Is At Work

Churches in the Yakima Valley come together to love and serve our community when they partner with Love INC. That ministry has been growing quickly over the past 18 months. One area we have witnessed that growth has been in the Connection Center. From 2019 to April 2022, the Connection Center averaged between 44 and 46 calls each month from people seeking assistance.

Growth

At Love INC we have experienced growth in the number of calls coming into our Connection Center. We received 1473 calls for help in 2023 and we saw an increase in the number of participants at the Emerge Program. We have seen growth in the lives of those coming to Emerge on Tuesday nights as well. With this growth comes the need for more volunteers. If you feel called to give your time, please fill out an application.

Spring Dessert Fundraiser

Join us for our annual Spring Fundraiser on Friday, April 26th from 6:30-8:00 pm at West Side Church! Doors open and silent auction begins at 6:00 pm. Kirk Vander Molen will be our speaker this year. Kirk has been a part of the Love INC Movement since 2002. He first served as the Executive Director for the Love INC of NW Allegan County, MI before joining the Love INC National Movement as the Director of Missional Integrity, and now serving as the National Executive Director.

Lunch & Learn

Grab your lunch and join us to learn how Love INC of Yakima is helping those in the community. Find out ways you can get involved. This is your opportunity to interact with the Love INC staff, learn about the services that we provide, and ask any questions you may have about the ministry of Love INC in the Upper Yakima Valley. This is offered on the last Wednesday of the month.
